Verb: 1. Reflect as if in a mirror.

In addition to conventional glass mirrors, which come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, many other smooth surfaces are able to reflect light.

A mirror can be used to introduce two contrasting elements into an image; an object and its reflection.
