In 2016, Hurstville City and Kogarah City councils were merged to create Georges River Council, covering an area of 38 sq Km and serving a population of 146,916.

As part of the 2017 Seniors Festival, our Digital Imaging Group was invited to submit photos for an exhibition entitled "Celebrating Georges River Council"
