Family History & Genealogy Group
Our Family History Group is in recess until further notice
Our meetings are a friendly gathering of members for the purpose of gaining knowledge in genealogical computing. They commence with a Question and Answer session to air problems with researching family history and to collectively advise on possible solutions. Details of past meetings can be viewed here.
Following this is usually a demonstration and discussion on a previously selected topic, typically a family history program or navigating available CD indexes.
As time permits there may then be hands on experience at exploring web sites of genealogical interest.
On occasions, and depending on availability, invited speakers will demonstrate their expertise in a range of genealogical topics accessible by computer.
